ART N SIP COMING TO WOLLOMBI VALLEY

Heather McMullen presents Art N Sip @Hollybrook Hunter Valley

Heather McMullen is a local artist who will be bringing Art N Sip to the region. This is a great opportunity to have some fun with a group of friends, enjoying local wine, painting simple themed paintings with all materials provided for you. And the best thing is....there is no right or wrong and no experience necessary!

Art N Sip will be held at ‘Hollybrook’, an old dairy farm set on a 100-acres just 5 kms from Wollombi. The old barn has now been restored and is now The Makers Studio, where all things creative are made and Art N Sip classes are held. Accommodation is also available onsite at the Hollybrook ‘The Dairy Cottage’.

Having escaped the city and loving the freedom and natural beauty of country life, Heather said it’s easy to be inspired by the local environment. ‘Nature never ceases to amaze me with its unique colour, texture, form and its ability to transform from fragile to turbulent in a short space of time. Always humbling on the soul’.

‘Art is a passion and a continual learning journey, but part of that is also the satisfaction of paying forward, sharing of knowledge and inspiring others to have a go. There is no judgement or rules here, just creativity’.

‘I’ve continued my studies and explored other mediums such as watercolour and acrylics, but I always seem to return to my first loves: ‘Drawing, Oils and Sculpture!’

Heather has had a life of extensive travel, painting and drawing workshops and completed her Diploma of Fine Arts, also in Business and Interior Design. Her works are owned nationally and internationally.
